St Agnes is the most southwesterly of the Isles of Scilly, located 28 miles from the tip of Cornwall. You can travel to the Islands by ferry or small plane, either of which will take you to the main transport hub of St Marys. It is then a short boat ride on to St Agnes. Once you are on the island, walking is the transport of choice, the island is only one mile across so everything is within easy walking distance. Cars are left on the mainland.
Ferry: You can travel to the Islands aboard the Scillonian Ferry from Penzance, which docks at the quay on St Mary's. The sea voyage makes an excellent start to visiting Scilly, with a tour of the beautiful Cornish coast and Lands End on the way out. If you get sea-sick it is worth taking some precautions as the ferry crossing can be wobbly on a rough day!
Plane: Small aircraft fly from Newquay and Land's End to St Marys throughout the year. Spring to autumn there are also flights from Exeter. Flights operate Monday - Saturday.
